Welcome to the Rice University Soccer Academy in Houston, Texas! Our academy is open to boys and girls ages 4-18, and players will be grouped according to age and ability. The coach to player ratio will be approximately 10 to 1. We have morning camps over the Christmas holidays and day camps, overnight camps, and half day camps (Owlet Camps for the younger players) available in the summer.
Our objective is to create a training environment that is both fun and challenging. We want to promote a soccer atmosphere where our players enjoy the time they spend with their coaches and teammates, and where they enjoy working hard to improve their game. Our coaches provide fundamental instruction for field players and goalkeepers in order to develop a strong foundation from which they can springboard to their fullest potential. All instruction is planned to maximize the individual camper's needs. Our staff will include college, ODP, and youth coaches experienced in training all ages and abilities.
All sessions will be held on the beautiful Rice University campus which boasts premier soccer facilities that accommodate both high level college and professional competitions. All campers will receive an official Rice Owls camp t-shirt! Additionally, depending on which camp session(s) your players sign up to attend, campers may also receive a Rice Owls camp ball to keep and an evaluation at the conclusion of the camp. The Rice University Soccer Academy is committed to your total development as a player with a focus on being challenged and having fun while learning soccer.
